Well time has been limited on the old blog lately due to working on Christmas cards. Most of them are done now (although not all are mailed out). I thought I would start sharing a few of them with you.
This year I made multiples of 5 of some designs. This is one of them.
I like how this turned out. Stamps are from Unity - October Kit of the Month.
Card Stock - SU - Designer Paper - DCWV
Brad - Making Memories
More will be shared later in the next few days leading up to Christmas.

Hi, Yes I know it's been several months since I've posted anything here on this blog. Just have not been doing that much stamping lately. - That should change soon so be on the look out for a few card postings. In the meantime a good friend of mine, Elena (The Red Haired Girl) is offering up some fun Blog Candy.
Stop by here blog and check it out. - She is a super talented lady and one that I am proud to call my friend.
Here a little picture though to help brighten your day since I don't have my cards ready to post just yet.
Wow it's been a few weeks since I've done the Blogger Challenge but this week I got new stamping goodies and I specifically bought some stamps to make Coleen a "Back to School" card which just so happens to be this weeks BC Challenge. How convenient was that!
Be sure to join Lisa (Splendiferous Creations) for the BC Challenge.
I am using the Sweet Sunday Sketch for my card so will be posting this card for that challenge as well.
Here is my card:
Stamps: Unity - Itty Bitty (Back at It)
Card Stock: SU - Colors, Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz, Lavender Lace (retired) and Whisper White.
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Copic Markers.
Circle Dies - Nestabilitie.
Fishtail Dies - MFT
For a change I also decorated the inside of the card:
Sorry about the lighting. For some reason now I can't seem to get decent lighting to take pictures of my cards. I'll keep trying though.
Today I am sharing a Monochromatic Sympathy card that I recently made.
Lisa (Designs by Lisa) had the Blogger Challenge on Friday for making your own background and while I'm rather "late" for the challenge here is my card.
The stamps are from SU (Summer Silhouettes) and Amuse Studio (Essential Sentiments). This card was my first attempt at making a background with one of the background stamps in the silhouette set. Since SU's stamps are not clear I had a hard time lining the stamp up as I cannot use the Stamp-a-ma-jig with a darn either. I had to try an "eye-ball" it and if you look closely (please don't) you'll notice I wasn't even.
Card Stock: Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, Wild Wasabi and Whisper White
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Wild Wasabi, Garden Green
Border Punch - Martha Stewart
Butterfly Die - Amuse Studio
Today is Blogger Challenge day over on Lisa's Blog, Splendiferous Creations where the theme this week is, Wedding/Anniversary cards. I tried several different ideas yesterday and none of them were working out the way I wanted them too. Then I remembered a stamp that I had that I thought would make a "different" sort of Wedding card and before I knew it my idea became this card:
Hi and Welcome to my blog. - Today I'm joining in on the fun of Blogger Challenge where the featured theme this week is, At The Beach. This is pretty much where I'd rather be today then watching it rain outside again. The cold, rainy weather is messing with my sinuses something awful and I'd much prefer a nice sunny beach to relax on then being cooped up inside but alas it is what it is.
My wonderful friend, Elena (The Red Haired Girl) has a wonderful son, Sergei who just celebrated his 13th birthday. I know he enjoys sports and playing baseball/softball so I sent off this baseball themed card to celebrate his special day.
For this card I used SU Brilliant Blue (retired) and Whisper White Card Stock.
Pattern Paper is from My Mind's Eye (Parade Stripes)
Welcome and Happy Friday. I decided to submit a card again this year for the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol contest. The open audition round theme was Kid or Teen Birthday's. Today they announced the Top 20 and sadly I was once again not chosen.
Okay I must admit to feeling a bit disappointed but at least I gave it a shot. Do check out the cards made by the TOP 20 though and cheer them on.
Here is the card that I submitted. I think it's pretty cute and hope you like it too.
Stamps from Unity-April Kit of the Month.
Card Stock: SU and Die Cuts With a View.
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Copic Markers

Happy Friday & Welcome. This weeks Blogger Challenge is, "In Bloom" open to your own interpretation. So please join me and head on over to Lisa's blog to check out the other participants.
Here is what I came up with for the challenge:
Stamps are from Unity.
Card Stock: Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette, Cool Caribbean, Barely Banana, Whisper White (SU)
Designer Paper (Die Cuts With A View - Spring Fling stack)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Oval Nestabilitie Dies
Embossing Folder - Cuttlebug
Hello & Welcome. - I found some time today to do some stamping and since the card I decided to make included Embossing I thought I would participate in this weeks Blogger Challenge since the theme was...Emboss Me (How convenient was that?)
I needed a wedding card for a fellow stamper who's getting married next Saturday and
the April kit from Unity's Kit of the Month club arrived in today's mail and it had the perfect stamps for a wedding card. I know another coincidence that worked out.
The base of the Card is Whisper White. I added a layer of Regal Rose (soon to be retired) followed by some Embossed/Glittered Designer paper from DCWV - Spring Fling Stack. The bells were embossed using Pink Pearls (Stamp-n-Stuff) embossing power on the Regal Rose card stock and mounted on Whisper White. I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo black ink, wiped off the hearts and colored them in with a Regal Rose marker before stamping. This was mounted on a piece of Cool Carribean (retired SU) card stock. I added an embossed strip of Barely Banana (also retired SU) and some Rose Grosgrain ribbon to complete the card.
Do stop by Lisa's blog, Designs by Lisa and check out the other participants and hey if you have time give it a go yourself. Have a great weekend.

Happy Valentine's Day - I hope where ever you are in your life that you have someone to say, "I love You" too. It doesn't have to be a romantic sweetheart either. Love is for everyone so please share it today with those you care about.
Thanks for visiting and here are a couple of cards I made for Valentine's Day.
Hi, Me again...Yes I know it's been a few weeks since I posted and yes I did say that I was "trying" to get back into stamping more this year but sometimes the best laid plans do go awry.
With that said let's head on over to Lisa's blog (Designs by Lisa) for this weeks Blogger Challenge, All You Need is Love.
With Valentine's Day rapidly approaching I decided to showcase a card that I am giving my hubby this year. It was a quick, easy and no stamping involved type card. I like those for a change of pace from time to time.
Wow it's been a few months since I've posted here. I hope you haven't forgotten me. The holiday season is always such a busy time and I just didn't spend much time stamping. I took a bit of a "hiatus" from stamping as well and truly enjoyed the break. Now it's time to start stamping again so I thought I would join in on this weeks Blogger Challenge on Lisa Sommerville's blog, This week it's a color challenge using the colors from this photo:
For my card I chose the colors: Cool Caribbean (retired SU), Night of Navy, Summer Starfruit and Whisper White (SU) Here is what I came up with.
Stamps used: Dots and Dasies Background stamp (retired SU), Sentiment from, Flower Die - Amuse Studio Swiss Dot Embossing Folder Navy Grosgrain ribbon Navy Brad, Lime Pearls and some crystal glitter.
Don't forget to check out the other participants. Have a great weekend.
