Peaceful Christmas Wishes

I realized I hadn't posted this card yet so I thought I would share it with you all today.

The stamp set is called:  Peaceful Wishes and is by Artful Inkables I fell in love with the deer images as I have always enjoyed driving to the mountains to look for deer. 

For this card I used Riding Hood Red Card stock for my base and layered a piece of designer paper (Basic Grey) along with a scalloped punched pieced of Riding Hood Red.  Then I embossed a piece of Sage Shadow cs with the snowflake embossing folder and highlight the snowflakes with a white craft pad.  I tied some Hunter Green Grosgrain ribbon around this piece.

My deer were embossed with Woven Tapestry EP (Personal Stamp Exchange).  This company no longer exists and I've had these powders forever but they really looked great embossed on this card.  The sentiment was stampedwith Cranberry Crisp Ink and I distressed the edges with a Gold Mettalic Ink Pad (Encore).  Then I mounted this onto some Handsome Hunter card stock and raised the image with foam mounting tape.  Pretty easy really but I love the way it turned out.
