Freshly Made Sketches#474 and NBUS#24

Joining in today for Freshly Made Sketches #474 and NBUS#24
Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:  I made one card first and didn't like how it turned out so I started over and was happy with how this one looked.

So for NBUS - Items are Pineapple Designer Paper, (Paper Studio),
Pineapple Embossing Folder (Park Lane) and the dotted Washi Tape (Heidi Swapp) - I also used the Pineapple Stamp for the first time although it came from a set I used here on this card.
Details:  Card Stock: Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo (current SU) and Gable Green (retired SU).
Ink: Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green & Memento Tuxedo Black.
Other: Pineapple Embossing folder, Washi Tape, Paper Distressing tool (retired SU), Foam Mounting Tape, Versamark Pad & Iridescent Ice embossing powder (on the pineapple) to make it shimmer and shine.

  1. for the life of me i can't see how you take that sketch at the top and make it look like this card. truly gifted

  2. Very cute. I need a little fun shine :) I was going to ask if you ripped the square paper behind the pineapple or if you distressed it but then I read that you used a paper distressing tool

  3. The cutest! I love your combination of paper and EF. Thank you for joining in our sketch challenge this week at FMS!

  4. Wow, wonderfully fun and I can just imagine that shine on the pineapple! I actually thought I caught a glimpse of shimmer, then you mentioned it so - yay. Wonderful make for FMS and NBUS!

  5. Ah, Funshine! I love the play on the word Sunshine, Ida! And I love your colorful and festive pineapple card! Keep well and thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

  6. Fabulous card and great layout, I love the pineapples.

  7. OMWord, what a perfect combination of stamps, paper, and embossing! It's so cute how they all came together, Ida!

  8. This just says fun without even reading the front!
