Welcome! - The Cupcake Inspiration Challenge is celebrating it's 200th challenge (that's a lot of cupcakes!) and to help them celebrate they invited past Cupcake Sweeties to participate in a Blog Hop. There are prizes available and a Grand Prize worth $200 so be sure to check out all the details here:
You should have arrived on my blog from Erica's blog (Inked up Cards) and from here you will go to Jennifer's blog (JLJ Designs) for the next link in the hop. If you get lost along the way there is a complete list of the blog hop participants on the CIC Blog.
We were asked to pick a cupcake from the past challenges and showcase our inspiration by creating a card based on the cupcake we chose. I chose CIC112
I just love the pretty colors of these cupcakes and the Hydrangea flowers. They are so beautiful when they bloom. Below is my card inspired by these cupcakes.
Email me if you'd like information about how this card was made.
(the stamps I used were not from my sponsor so I didn't list the company)
My sponsor is: DRS Designs and they are offering a prize of these Stamps to the winner. Doesn't that cupcake image look yummy. I love the cherry on top. Be sure to check them out. They have a wonderful selection of stamps available at their store.
So what do you have to do to win these stamps...Easy, just leave a comment on this post by Saturday March 9 (at noon - Central Time) and on Sunday I will announce who my winner is. Don't forget there are prizes available on all the blog hop particpants so be sure to visit each one to see what prize they have available.
To be eligible to win the $200 Grand Prize you will need to pick a cupcake from a past CIC inspiration and post a link to your card on the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge blog. Grand Prize includes:
$25 gift certificate from 7 Kids College Fund,
$30 gift certificate from Bugaboo Digi Stamps,

Hi Ida,
ReplyDeleteI stopped by earlier but I think I might have done something wrong when I tried to comment. If it is there and just waiting approval then it won't hurt to add a new one but in case it isn't there I'll say again that I love, LOVE, love your card. I stopped at your photography blog too. I enjoyed visiting there. You are very talented.
I'm so happy that you joined us for this challenge, I think it's a nice touch to have the past DT join us.
hugs,
Chris v (CIC sweetie - no prizes for me)

Like the Hydrangea cupcakes & card. Like the colors of your card, distresed edge on the seed packet & embossing. The stamp looks familiar. I have a Hydrangea stamp somewhere but not on a seed packet I do not think. I host a wkly challenge at Mark's Finest Papers in which the challenge this wk is Anything Goes. Membership is free to join MFP. Please join, enter (mulitple times allowed) & let them know I sent you.
