Wing and a Prayer

Up today is a card that I made for a friend who recently had surgery and is recovering from it.

For this card I used the Unity Stamps (Wing and a Prayer) stamp set and paper from Unity (A little tenderness) pattern.

Card Base: Early Espresso, Next I used a piece of the patterned pape that I distressed the edges with ink.

I stamped the bird on white cs and colored with Prisma Pencils and blended with stubs/gamsol. It was cut out with a Unity Circle die.

The hearts are from a die collection that was given to me as a gift so I do not know the company/source of where they came from. One was cut from a retired SU card stock and the other from the patterned paper pack.  I used staples to mount them to each other.

The sentiment was stamped with Early Espresso ink on Petal Pink cs and distressed.  I added some chocolate brown pearls to complete the card. - Image was mounted with foam tape.

I hope you have enjoyed this card.  Have a great day & Happy Stamping/Crafting!

  1. What a cute card that is. That would certainly make anyone recovering feel better or at the very least make them smile.

  3. Great card, Ida! Your birdie is so sweet and definitely needs to have his own little healing - lol. I hope all is well there, and I'm glad you made it to crafting, even for a bit
