Snowy for this weeks Cupcake Inspiration Challenge over on
Hope Stamps Eternal. I just love the wonderful color these cupcakes have so I pulled my inspiration from the colors and the lines in the frosting/cupcake wrappers.
I wanted to use another of the cute $1 stamps from Inkadinkado that I found at JoAnn's. Isn't this Monkey just adorable! The paper I picked is from S.E.I.'s Mimosa line. I think the colors in this pattern (Margarita Glitter) match the colors of the cupcake's icing pretty darn close.
I chose this
TESC sketch as my starting point.
The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Prisma Colored Pencils. I raised the monkey's head up with dimensional tape for some added interest.
At the bottom I added 3 small punched hearts and 3 gorgeous pink gem hearts (Annabelle Stamps).
