Happy Friday! - Well this week has been a lot better. Coleen (my granddaughter)is over her hives. We still don't know what caused them. I started bowling league (126-151-143)not bad for not having bowled since early April. Our daughter, Greta celebrated her 27th birthday, and I started walking again in an effort to lose weight (wish me luck). Okay enough, "chit-chat" let's get on with the theme of today's
Blogger Challenge.
List mom, Lisa gave us the theme: Who's Got the Button? This was a "challenge" for me. I love seeing buttons on other people's cards but I have a difficult time trying to use them on my own cards. They never seem to look right to me.
I went shopping yesterday for a specific button (didn't find what I was looking for) and instead came away with a cute $1 stamp find that ended up on my card today.
Doesn't he look so friendly...not nearly scary enough to scare away those crows either! Originally I just had the 1 button under his scarf and then late last night before I went to bed I decided to add the 3 buttons next to the sentiment. I think it worked and helped to balance out the design.
Last week I forgot to add my card to Lisa's links until late in the week so few people have commented on it. Plus I haven't gotten around to all your blogs either so will be catching up on that this week.
Now it's your turn:
