Blogger Challenge #299 -

Wow it's been a few months since I've posted here.  I hope you haven't forgotten me.  The holiday season is always such a busy time and I just didn't spend much time stamping.  I took a bit of a "hiatus" from stamping as well and truly enjoyed the break.  Now it's time to start stamping again so I thought I would join in on this weeks Blogger Challenge on Lisa Sommerville's blog,

This week it's a color challenge using the colors from this photo:

For my card I chose the colors:  Cool Caribbean (retired SU), Night of Navy, Summer Starfruit and Whisper White (SU)

 Here is what I came up with.

Stamps used:  Dots and Dasies Background stamp (retired SU), Sentiment from,

 Flower Die - Amuse Studio

Swiss Dot Embossing Folder

 Navy Grosgrain ribbon

 Navy Brad, Lime Pearls and some crystal glitter.

    I love it when you stamp, Ida. There's always something very special about your cards. I still have the Dots and Daisies background stamp, too. It's a perfect fit for your design. Loved the Christmas card you sent, too. It was just so soft and beautiful.

    This is a wonderful card, Ida! You've used the colors so well(I thought the dark blue was black...until I started looking at everyone's cards!)
