Fusion Challenge - Rainbow Dress

Happy Monday! - It's the start of a new week and hooray most of our snow is gone!

So today I'm joining the Fusion Challenge

Rainbow Dress:

 

 

Isn't that little dress just adorable as can be.  So here you can choose either the sketch or the photo or even both to be inspired by.

 

For my card I decided on both and went very CAS (Clean and Simple) with this one.

 

 Details:

Card Stock: Lavender Lace, Mint Melody & Pretty in Pink, Whisper White - All retired SU

 

Designer Paper: American Crafts - Bloom Street

Stamp: Butterfly & Thank you sentiment are from Hero Arts-New Day Butterflies

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, So Saffron, Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo

Other: Fishtail Die - MFT, Versa Mark Pad, Iridescent Ice embossing powder.

This card is going out as a Thank You to a kind lady that was so faithful in sending cards to my mom while she was alive.  Since my mom loved butterflies I wanted the card to reflect part of her personality.

Freshly Made Sketches #473

 Hello & Welcome.  - I've been absent for a couple of weeks from stamping because I had a bout of "winter blahs" and just didn't feel inspired to stamp at all.

Today I finally got out of the house and was able to drive around town without fear of ice/snow making it hard for me to drive.  - I was inspired to get out my stamps and create again.  Hooray!

Other: Basic Black Marker & White Gel Pen (to color beak)

Foam Mounting Tape

Blender Pen - I colored the accent on the wing with a blender pen & the Flirty Flamingo ink pad.
