BC120 - You Drive Me Batty

Wow it's FINALLY FRIDAY! - It's been a LONG week here so I'm ready for the weekend.
For our Blogger Challenge this week Lisa (list mom) had this wonderful sketch for us to try. I've been in a Halloween mood (as if you couldn't tell) so once again I have another fun Halloween card to share with you.

I started off of all things doing the ribbon treatment and basing all my colors off of that. I used a piece of Orange/Yellow Stitched Ribbon (May Arts) and pulled the thread to bunch it up then carefully glued it down on a circle of white card stock.
Next I added the circle of Summer Sun and my fun little bat (Carson-Dellosa Publ.)colored with Prisma Colored pencils. I stamped another bat and used Orange stickles on the tie then raised it up on the original bat with foam mounting tape. I added an Orange Felt Flower (Maya Road) with a black brad. My DP are from DCWV-Indian Summer line. I also used a piece of Black Grosgrain ribbon, Spiderweb Punch(MS), Orange Brads and the sentiment is from (Basic Grey)

So now it's your turn to check out the other BC members blogs and see what they did with this fun sketch. Don't forget the (Comment Lovin!). Have a wonderful weekend.

  1. Ida,

You never cease to inspire me -- I love everything about this card! The ribbon, the spider webbing down the side, the color -- so clever and so cute. I do not DO Halloween but I would definitely do this card! Great job!
