Blogger Challenge - Black, White and a Splash of Color

It's Friday and time for the Blogger Challenge.  You can check out all the great cards by hopping over to Lisa's blog, Splendiferous Creations.  This week's theme:
Black, White and a "splash" of color.  I started out creating a card for the challenge and didn't really care that much for my first 2 attempts but I'll post them anyway along with the final card that was my favorite.

Card 1:  Background Stamp, Retired SU, Sentiment from Trust God SU
Card Stock: Basic Black, Naturals White, Green Galore-Retired SU.
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Nestability Dies
Sprinkles - AnnaBelle Stamps

Card No. 2:

Details:  Same as Above with the added editions of, Whisper White Card Stock:
Flowers - AnnaBelle Stamps, Scallop Punch (SU) and Black Brad.

Card No.3 - My final attempt and my favorite of the three.

Stamp: Studio G
Card Stock:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight.
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black
Copic Markers, Glitter, Butterfly Die (Amuse Studio)

So which one is your favorite?

Have a great weekend.

  1. I love all three...but the way you've combined the elements on the third one is fabulous!

  2. Hmmmmm....I think I like the yellow and black one best in this series, Ida. Probably it's because the focal image and sentiment combined are unusual...and beautiful. Great cards---all three of them. I like the "splash of color" idea, always.

  3. I love all three of your cards, Ida! It is not easy to create cards with black and white colors. And you did an AMAZING job!

  4. Ida:

I like the black and pink one the best. Hoping to start doing cards again. Been home (unemployed) for 4 months now. Time to get crafty.

  5. I think all of them are great, but I agree, I love the bursts of yellow in the third one.
