Today I am sharing a Monochromatic Sympathy card that I recently made.
Lisa (Designs by Lisa) had the Blogger Challenge on Friday for making your own background and while I'm rather "late" for the challenge here is my card.
The stamps are from SU (Summer Silhouettes) and Amuse Studio (Essential Sentiments). This card was my first attempt at making a background with one of the background stamps in the silhouette set. Since SU's stamps are not clear I had a hard time lining the stamp up as I cannot use the Stamp-a-ma-jig with a darn either. I had to try an "eye-ball" it and if you look closely (please don't) you'll notice I wasn't even.
Card Stock: Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green, Wild Wasabi and Whisper White
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Wild Wasabi, Garden Green
Border Punch - Martha Stewart
Butterfly Die - Amuse Studio
Pearls, Zva
Twine
Nestabilitie Dies.
I think you did a fantastic job on creating background. I love this card! Love the color green you chose.
ReplyDeleteGreat job, the thing to remember is we are our worst critiques don't tell and no one will notice. Enjoy what you do!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! The thing to remember is that we are our worst critiques tell no one and they won't notice. Cards are make with loving hands and don't need to be Perfect. Enjoy what you do.
ReplyDeleteSo soft and pretty, Ida! Love the oval and use of diecut! Perfect sympathy card!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful card and you are the only one that would notice any imperfections. We are always so critical of ourselves aren't we?
ReplyDeleteOh, I missed this before. Love how soft and gentle it is. Perfect for a sympathy card.
