Today is Blogger Challenge day over on Lisa's Blog, Splendiferous Creations where the theme this week is, Wedding/Anniversary cards. I tried several different ideas yesterday and none of them were working out the way I wanted them too. Then I remembered a stamp that I had that I thought would make a "different" sort of Wedding card and before I knew it my idea became this card:
Stamps: Linked by Love - The label on this stamp says, Inkadinkado but also has K&Company and Basic Grey listed on it so I'm not sure which one actually made
the stamp. It's dated 2005 if that helps.
Card Stock: Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black & Whisper White, SU.
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Punches, Hearts (SU) and Chain Link (EK Success)
Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug - Anna Griffin line-Rose
Pearls - Zva
I love those stamps Ida...and all the tiny elements...the hearts, embossed background, etc. are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the stamp set you used! Wonderful touch on embossing the background!
ReplyDeleteThat embossed background is so pretty and the stamp is really cool! I can think of someone right now who was recently married who would have just loved this card because it's not exactly traditional. I love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Ida!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful card, Ida. Any bride and groom would be delighted to receive it - lovely sentiment!
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th of July!
