Go Fly A Kite

I've been on a bit of a Stamping Sabbatical lately and just recently joined in with the SSUS (Sensational Stampin Up Stampers) group in a One-One Anything Goes card exchange.  With this exchange we can use stamps, papers, embellishments, etc...from ANY company we want.  We make one full card and send it to our partner.  Here is the card that I made and sent to my partner,

Stamps: Unity (March 2013 Kit of the Month)
Card Stock: SU - Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Real Red, Old Olive)
Designer Paper - My Minds Eye (Lime Twist - Fly a Kite "Soar" Kites Paper).
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Prisma Colored Pencils, Gamsol.
Embossing Folder - The Paper Studio
Punch - EK Success
Fishtail Dies - MFT
Ribbon, SU
Gems

Here is the card I received from my partner: Jeanne Nielsen

She even did the inside:

Isn't that fun!

  3. I like your kite card, perfect for spring. I like the color of the cardstock base Jeanne used. The embossed characters add nice texture.

  4. That sounds like fun, Ida! Good way to get you stamping again. You're so good at it, too. I've always enjoyed your cards. This is very cute and cheerful. Love the one you received, as well.

  5. I cannot stamp for the worth of me. I have bought stamps from Micheal's.

When I stamp. I only get half on the page. I am a dumbo when it comes to stamping. We did the tag way back in my days and traded.

    Good neat job. Be proud.

  12. I cannot stamp neither. Mine never stamp fully. Yours are really nice.

People told me how to do it. It don't work for me.

I had about 100 dollars worth of stamps and finally gave them to people who are savvy in that.
