Yes, I "cased" a card and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I'm a bit "rusty" with my stamping lately since I haven't done much of it for some time. I came across THIS CARD
made by the talented Karen Giron and loved it. I decided to do my own take on this card so without further ado here is my version:
I didn't have any Die cut out like the (Hi) on Karen's card so I went with a stamped sentiment instead.
Card Stock: Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Sentiment - Amuse Studio
Embossing Folder - Modern Wallpaper (Cuttlebug-Provo Craft)
Circle Die - Spellbinders
Flower Die - Amuse Studio
Gem - Source Unknown
I also used a piercing tool around the outside edge of the circle.
Thanks for the Inspiration Karen.
Beautiful! I love the embossing folder. Glad to see you are posting here. :)
ReplyDeleteOooh, that's pretty! I love your perky, springy, citrusy colors, and the sentiment looks great! Not looking too rusty from where I sit!
ReplyDeleteOh this is a gorgeous case Ida. Love it!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely. It is so simplistic yet complex i just love it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! You certainly are gifted!
ReplyDeleteYou do a beautiful job with your cards Ida! When my girls were young we did a lot of card making and scrapbooking, but I gave all my things to Stephanie now. I still make the odd one. Maybe I will have to get back into it. :)
ReplyDeleteI finally made it, and now follow both of your beautiful blogs!
Have a beautiful day!
Joy! Debbie
