Blogger Challenge - Wedding

Happy Friday!

Today is Blogger Challenge day over on Lisa's Blog,  Splendiferous Creations where the theme this week is,  Wedding/Anniversary cards.  I tried several different ideas yesterday and none of them were working out the way I wanted them too.  Then I remembered a stamp that I had that I thought would make a "different" sort of Wedding card and before I knew it my idea became this card:

Stamps:  Linked by Love -  The label on this stamp says, Inkadinkado but also has K&Company and Basic Grey listed on it so I'm not sure which one actually made
the stamp.  It's dated 2005 if that helps.

Card Stock:  Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black & Whisper White, SU.
    Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black
Punches,  Hearts (SU) and Chain Link (EK Success)
Embossing Folder:  Cuttlebug - Anna Griffin line-Rose
    Pearls - Zva

Blogger Challenge - Emboss Me, April 12, 2013

Hello & Welcome.  -  I found some time today to do some stamping and since the card I decided to make included Embossing I thought I would participate in this weeks Blogger Challenge since the theme was...Emboss Me (How convenient  was that?)
I needed a wedding card for a fellow stamper who's getting married next Saturday and

the April kit from Unity's Kit of the Month club arrived in today's mail and it had the perfect stamps for a wedding card.  I know another coincidence that worked out.

The base of the Card is Whisper White.  I added a layer of Regal Rose (soon to be retired) followed by some Embossed/Glittered Designer paper from DCWV - Spring Fling Stack.  The bells were embossed using Pink Pearls (Stamp-n-Stuff) embossing power on the Regal Rose card stock and mounted on Whisper White.  I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo black ink, wiped off the hearts and colored them in with a Regal Rose marker before stamping.  This was mounted on a piece of Cool Carribean (retired SU) card stock.  I added an embossed strip of Barely Banana (also retired SU) and some Rose Grosgrain ribbon to complete the card.

Do stop by Lisa's blog,  Designs by Lisa and check out the other participants and hey if you have time give it a go yourself.  Have a great weekend.
