Welcome!
Today's post is going to be filled with all the Christmas cards I never got around to posting before Christmas so I can finish up 2020's cards.
First up a couple of Poinsettia cards made with the same die I used on this card
For this card I left in the pieces of the die - Well actually I had to glue most of them back in (pain in the butt). The patterned paper is the reverse side of the paper from the card above.
I also used circle Nestabilitie dies and the bow die from the Pines and Holly die set (Newton's Nook.) Card stock was Real Red, Very Vanilla and an unknown piece of textured green card stock. I also added some sequins and bakers twine.
Card #2
This card is actually the very first card I made using that Poinsettia die. Pretty simple design. Card Stock, Whisper White & Real Red. Added some pearls to the center of the flowers, embossed a panel with the Swiss Dot embossing folder and embossed the Noel sentiment with white embossing powder on a shaped rectangle nestabilitie die.
Card #3
This one was a quick and easy card. I wanted to use that cute little Gingerbread paper. I also had a little Gingerbread stamp from a small Inkadinkado set that I used, The sentiment was from the Christmas Characters stamp set (Inkadinkado). I added some stripped Washi Tape and Gems to complete the look.
Card Stock: Shaded Spruce, Real Red & Whisper White.
This one used a combination of dies from 2 different sets. The Poinsettia, Holly leaves & Berries are from Momenta and the Joy sentiment is from a Sizzix set. I used a piece of designer paper that I bought at Hobby Lobby and some poinsettia washi tape and sequins to complete the card.
Card #5 - Which I thought I had posted but apparently hadn't.
Card Base - Basic Black (yes you read that right). I added a piece of designer paper that was black with red/green holly and berries. Other colors used: Real Red, Old Olive & Very Vanilla. The other is a piece of DP from SU. Dies are from the Holly/Pines set. Also used some Oval Dies. I added glitter to the berries on the dp as well as the die cut ones.
So now I'm all caught up with all the cards I made for Christmas of 2020.
My plan is to start making cards for 2021 in January and make a few each month so I don't have to rush getting cards made for next Christmas.
Hope you've enjoyed these & Happy New Year as this will be my last post for this year.
