Paper Players #561 - Spooky Challenge and NBUS

 Welcome!

It's time to join the Paper Players for this weeks challenge.

This week was a theme challenge, Spooky. - So of course I just had to play along.

I've been dying to use the new die I purchased from Picket Fence Studios (Scarecrow Cover Plate Die).

Below is the card I created for this challenge #PP561

I think this qualifies as, Spooky!

For this card I used the Scarecrow Cover Plate Die from Picket Fence Studio.  I cute it out on Basic Black card stock and set it aside while I created my background.

Once again I had some fun with the stencil from the Tim Holtz collection.  I purchased mine at JoAnn's but you can find it online at Simon Says Stamps  I used 3 colors of ink: Only Orange*retired SU,
Daffodil Delight, and Mango Melody to sponge on the stencil design and distressed the edges of the card stock before gluing it down on a piece of Pumpkin Pie Card stock.

After I had it stenciled I glued down the Scarecrow Die and added 2 small sequins from Picket Fence - Witches Brew mix.

Finally I stamped the Sentiment from Echo Park - Something Wicked Stamp set in Memento Tuxedo black ink.

Since this is the first time I've used the Scarecrow Die and the sentiment from the stamp set I'm going to enter this card as well on the NBUS blog for NBUS#31

As you can see I mixed up several items from 3 different companies to come up with this card but I love how it turned out.
