Trick or Treat Fun - PP661 and NBUS55

 Welcome!

It's the start of a new week and today I'm joining the Paper Players for,
PP661 - a color challenge from LeAnne and also NBUS#55 since this is my first time using this adorable stamp set.

Before I post my card a special thanks to Claire for choosing my card
from last weeks (Space Theme) for a, Cut Above
award .

Now on to this weeks card. - When I saw the colors I was wondering how I could fit them all in the challenge and then I discovered the perfect piece of designer paper that fit all the colors of the challenge and voila~ my card was born!

So I started with a card base of Basic Black.  Then I found the designer paper from Basic Grey-Eerie Paper Pad that I've had for a couple of years.  I then cut a strip of Highland Heather and added it over the top of the designer paper.  My little Ghost and Bat Bouquet stamp and sentiment are from Unity (Ghostly Bat Ensemble).  I added highlight color to the ghost image with some colored pencils and fussy cut it out.

The sentiment and ghost were stamped on Basic White Card Stock and stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink.
I added a zigzag punched piece of Old Olive and mounted the sentiment on Pumpkin Pie card stock.  The punch is from, EK Success.  - To finish off the card I added some sequins from Picket Fence studios (Witches Brew). - I love how this one turned out.

Be sure to check out the cool cards made by the Design Team and maybe even join in on the fun with a card of your own.

Thanks for stopping by.

  2. I have a Halloween card sitting on my desk that has paper with all those colors. Must be the perfect color combination for the season. You did a good job on this card. I like it.

  3. You're right! That "eerie" paper works perfectly for your little ghost and his (her) bouquet of bats! What a fun image, not too scary, just right! Thanks for playing with my colors this week, Ida!
