This card used the soon to be retired, Petal Prints stamp set. The base of the card is Certainly Celery with a layer of Almost Amethyst and then a layer of Whisper White stamped with Certainly Celery leaves. I stamped the flower with Almost Amethyst and Certainly Celery then over stamped with the line image done in Lavender Lace & Sage Shadow. I added 2 Lavender lace eyelets & punched out the saying with the 3/4 & 1/2 circle punches. The flower is highlighted with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter & the panel was raised with mounting tape.
Card 2:
For this card I chose a set from the current Mini catalog called, You Make Me Happy. The card base is Summer Sun and I stamped the Flannel Plaid background using More Mustard ink. Then I added a strip of Really Rust which I distressed with the Cutter Kit. To that layer I added a strip of Old Olive that I DTP with Old Olive ink to help give it that aged look. I stamped the flowers with Pumpkin Pie ink & punched them out using the 1 3/8" Circle punch and edge them with Summer Sun ink. I stamped the small cirle image with More Mustard Ink and added a Copper brad to the center then raised them up with mounting tape. The sentiment was stamped with Garden Green Ink
Card 3:
For this card I again used the set, In Full Bloom along with the saying from Winged Things, another retiring set. - On a side note here, Boy did SU decided to CLEAN HOUSE this year. I lost a TON of my sets and frankly while I'm excited about getting a bunch of new sets in the upcoming catalog I know I'm not going to be able to afford replace all the sets I am losing so I'm a little SAD about it as well. - Okay back to the card details...the base of this card is Pretty In Pink which I stamped the Fine Lace Background with Pixie Pink Ink. I added a Strip of White to the side which I stamped the floral border and colored with markers using Soft Subtles colors. I added a small strip of Bashful Blue and a Smaller Strip of Certainly Celery. The saying was stamped and punch with 1 3/8" Square Punch. I layer it onto a slightly larger square of Lavender Lace card stock & pierced the corners with the Crafter's tool kit. The I colored & cut out the bee image using Barely Banana & Going Gray ink & highlighted the bee with Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I raised the bee image up with mounting tape.
So don't forget to vote & let me know which card you like best. - Happy Stamping, Ida
